Automatically forward email from other mail providers

How to cancel email forwarding

 

In order to cancel email forwarding, follow the steps below:


1. Go to the Channels section in your Tidio panel. Then, choose the correct mailbox and select the Delete button (you’ll find it in the three-dot menu to the right).  2. Confirm the choice you’ve made. Your mailbox will be removed from the panel, but in order to disable forwarding completely you also need to change some options under Settings.

Now, the next steps are slightly different depending on the mailbox you’ve integrated.

For Gmail:

1a. Log into your mailbox, click on the Gear icon in the dashboard and select Settings.   

2a. Choose the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab and select the Disable forwarding option, which will affect the email address you had added previously.

3a. You have succesfully removed the integration! You should no longer receive emails from this mailbox in your Chat Panel.

For Outlook.com & Office 365:

1b. Select the Gear icon from the top-right corner of your Inbox and choose Options.

2b. From the Options page, open the Forwarding tab in the Account section.

3b. Select the Stop forwarding option and click Save.

4b. You have succesfully removed the integration! You should no longer receive emails from this mailbox in your Chat Panel.

For other e-mail providers:

1c. Please remove your @tidioreply.com email address from your automatic forwarding settings.
