To add departments to your pre-chat survey, go to the “Settings” section of your Tidio Chat panel and select the "Departments" tab. Select the "Add New” button to create a new department.
A new window will appear where you can fill in the name and description of your department as well as assign specific operators to the department. After you have finished, simply click on the “Add” button.
Your new department is now saved, you can edit, delete it or add a new one.
To make departments visible to your visitors you will need to have your pre-chat survey turned on. To do so, go to the “Appearance” section and enable your pre-chat survey.
Done! Your visitors will now be able to select which department they want to talk to.
You can customize the text field for departments too! Simply go to Multilanguage section and edit your current language:

Important! If a newly created department is not showing on your computer, please clear the cache in your browser as it may be storing your old settings.
