How can I disable/hide the chat on my website?

There are 2 ways in which you can hide the chat: only when you're offline (option 1) or permanently, regardless of your status (option 2).

Option 1

To hide the chat when you're not available, go to Channels > Live Chat > Appearance and toggle on the option in Widget Settings.

Option 2

Hiding the chat permanently is also done through the Appearance section. Look for the Display option in Widget settings and select 'Adjust' from the drop-down menu that appears there. 

A new window will appear where you can adjust the chat display to your preferences. Here you can customise your widget to be displayed on specific pages (or devices) only. To confirm, just click on 'X' in the upper-right:

Remember to save your changes in the panel by clicking on Save at the bottom of the Channels section.
