How can I get it?

(if the chat was installed via a plugin in Shopify, Wordpress, Wix, etc.)

To have valid credentials and log into your mobile app, you need to associate your email address with the Tidio account first.
In order to do that, please open your chat panel, click on Create an account and type in a desired email and password. This way you will create a login and password to sign into the mobile app. 

What devices can I use it on?

You can install our mobile app for Android 4.0 and higher or iOS 8.0 and higher.

iOS installation guide:

1. Download the app:

Go to the Dashboard of your chat panel or go to the Settings section and select Download for iOS.

2. Log into the app:

To log into the mobile app, simply use your email and password created via the online/desktop panel. Make sure you have finished the registration process in your chat plugin, otherwise your mobile app will not be connected with your chat. 

3. Set it up:

Make sure you have the notifications turned on so you are not missing any incoming chats.

Also, consider having Stay Online switched on in Settings > Notifications, so that the app will run in thr background after you close it.

Please note that the screenshots provided in this article are based on popular Samsung phones and the Settings section may vary depending on the brand of your device.

1. Download the app:

You can either go to the Settings > Desktop & Mobile section in your chat panel and choose to install the app from there or use the following link.

2. Log into the app:

To log into the mobile app, use your email and password. Make sure you have finished the registration process in your chat plugin, otherwise your mobile app will not be connected with your chat. 

3. Set it up:

Make sure you have the notifications turned on and set up as a priority.

Go to Settings and My Device, then press Sounds and notifications:

Go to Application notifications:

Search for Tidio Chat on the list of your applications and open it:

Set the notifications as a priority to make sure they are not delayed. Please note that power saving options in your phone may also delay push notifications.

Visitors list - keep track of your visitors, see what page they are on at the moment, what country they are from and what browser they are using.

Conversations - look up all current and archived chats, search for certain messages or contacts, and update your visitors' info.

Push notifications - opt out or in for the notifications you'd like to receive on your mobile device and choose from one of the 10 available sounds.

Visitor's info - edit your visitor's info in an active chat or in the history, so that you instantly know who they are when they come back.
