Settings

The settings section allows you to change the vital elements of the Tidio Chat back-end. Here you can edit your chat settings, manage operators, check into your account, and a lot more.

  • Preferences - Change your project’s name, enable periodic reports (daily, every 3 days, weekly, monthly) and clear previously banned visitors. You can also delete the chat project here.

  • Account - Here you can review your recent invoices, change the billing data, or edit your login details (email, password).

  • Operators - Add or delete operators and manage their permissions. To learn more about that, click here.

  • Departments - Set up departments to organise your operators and assign them to separate divisions (e.g. Sales, Support, etc.), so that it's easier for your visitors to reach the right team. To learn more about departments, click here.

  • Notifications - Change the sound notifications that will be played when a new visitor comes to your site, as well as when you receive a new message or a new chat request.

  • Opening Hours - Set your chat's hours of operation. When the chat is scheduled to be off, users will see your chat as offline.

  • Developer - Find out more about your project(s) and modify your chat with the Tidio API.
